The Private Session is a personal Pilates training session with one of our professionally certified instructors. Each session is tailored to your individual fitness needs and goals. The exercises will incorporate various types of equipment such as the: reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, arm chair, high or small barrels, spine corrector, pedipole and toe corrector. The session also incorporates various mat exercises and props such as arm weights, magic circles, flex bands and small balls. Private Sessions are by appointment only.
A Duet session allows 2 clients to work simultaneously with 1 instructor. Various pieces of Pilates equipment are utilized together with some mat exercises, similar to the private session. It is ideal to provide your own partner for a duet session. However, you may request to have the studio provide you with a partner you're your session. It may however, take some time to pair people up because we need to make sure your partner is at a similar ability with you to ensure an effective session for all. Duet Sessions require an appointment.
A semi-private small group equipment session is a Pilates session where 3-5 people are working simultaneously with one instructor. Various pieces of pilates equipment are used throughout the session, including mat and props. With the session, clients can be at different levels. We offer several pilates mat and stability ball classes throughout the week. There is a maximum of 6 people per class to ensure individualized attention. Pre-registration is required for all Group Classes. You may register in person or by calling the studio. Mat classes include the use of props like magic circles, flex bands, small weights and balls. All Pilates Mat class except for the Pilates Bootcamp class are open level classes (beginner to advanced) Pilates Bootcamp is for the strong intermediate/advanced client with at least a year of doing pilates three to five times a week. Permission by the instructor is required to take this class, and all new intermediate/advanced clients to the studio are advised to take one to three private sessions before doing this class.
Premier Pilates and Yoga offers a variety of Equipment/Small Apparatus Classes. They include: Springboard/Tower Classes, Spine Corrector Classes and Wunda Chair Classes. All Springboard/Tower Classes, Wunda Chair and Spine Corrector Classes are open level. Pre-registration is required for all Group Classes, and before doing the Level I Wunda Chair Class, we suggest doing the 5-Private session introductory package to get more familiar with pilates. We also offer a Pilates Equipment Circuit Session Package for those who want the benefit of working on the pilates equipment without the cost of a Private session. This Semi-Private Group Equipment Class is offered four times a week in the mornings, evenings and weekends to cater to every schedule.
Prenatal/Postpartum Group Classes are offered in ten-week sessions. Expecting mothers often find that working doing Pilates while pregnant offers a myriad of benefits: more energy, less physical discomfort and a quicker recovery from labor. Prenatal Pilates emphasizes core stabilization, pelvic floor and back strengthening, postural improvement and flexibility utilizing all the six principles. Our postnatal/Mommy and Baby pilates classes help women to regain their abdominal and pelvic floor strength and get back in shape quickly after delivery. There is a maximum of four mothers to be in each class and pre-registration in addition to a doctor's note is required for all prenatal/postpartum classes. Prenatal Pilates clients are allowed to alternate between prenatal equipment sessions and Pilates group equipment circuit sessions.
This class is geared towards the needs of the post-menopausal woman who has osteopenia or osteoporosis. The class will address the issues associated with both as well as carpal tunnel syndrome, forward shoulder syndrome and other things specific to this population.
Are you new to yoga? Are you recovering from an injury? Do you need to advance your practice or prepare for yoga teacher training? Then a yoga private is for you. We offer hour long one-on-one sessions at your convenience. 90-minute and two hour sessions are also available upon request. Please call the studio for details.
A Yoga Therapy Session specifically targets all issues relating to you, the individual and uses yoga therapeutically to aid in the body healing itself. The first session includes Range of motion and muscle testing to determine what muscles are overworked and/or weak together with a verbal consultation to ensure you are getting what you need from the session. Homework is given, so every client takes responsibility for his/her healing process. Components of the session include; asana, pranayama, yoga philosophy, meditation, ROM and Muscle testing. Yoga Therapy Sessions are by appointment only.
Thai Yoga is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine and Buddhist spiritual prace. It is a unique system which combines rhytmic massage, acu-pressure, Asanas, gentle twisting and energy work. Thai Yoga stimulates and balances the flow of healing energy withing the body opening up blocked areas of the body and allowing the person to become more balanced, healthy and happy. The system releases tension and stress, well-being and vitality and deepens the connection between the mind, body and spirit in both the receiver and the giver. Sessions are an hour, an hour and a half or two hours and are by appointment only.

Prenatal/Postpartum Group Classes are offered in six-week sessions. Learn how to use yoga for labor and Delivery. Our yoga for pregnancy classes allow you to practice yoga in a safe, supportive environment while learning postures and exercises specifically suited to pregnant women and new mothers. Benefits of yoga for pregnancy include improving muscular strength, flexibility alignment and circulation, strengthening the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor, increasing energy levels and allowing you to meet other pregnant women. Pre-registration and a doctor's note is require for these classes.
